Frequently asked questions
Common questions about Picplus. Can't find what you need? Contact us.
- How do I create a gallery?
- Sign in and click New Gallery. Name your gallery, set the date, add a cover photo, then upload photos by section. Share the link with your client—they can view and download without an account.
- How many photos can I upload?
- The free Starter plan includes up to 3 galleries and 10,000 photos total. Professional ($29/mo or $25/mo annually) offers 100GB storage. Studio ($59/mo or $50/mo annually) adds team features. See our Pricing page for full details.
- Can clients download photos?
- Yes. Clients can download individual photos or request the full gallery as a ZIP. You control whether downloads are enabled for each gallery.
- What file formats are supported?
- We support JPEG, PNG, HEIC, and common video formats (MP4, MOV). Photos are displayed at full quality; originals are preserved for download.
- Can I password-protect a gallery?
- Password protection is available on Professional and Studio plans. Set a password when creating or editing a gallery—share it only with your client.
- How long are galleries stored?
- Galleries remain available as long as your account is active. On the free plan, we recommend archiving or downloading older galleries if you approach the limit.
- Do clients need to sign up?
- No. Clients view galleries via a link—no account required. They can favorite images, download, and share the link without creating a Picplus account.
- What's the difference between the plans?
- Starter is free for up to 3 galleries. Professional adds unlimited galleries, password protection, and custom branding. Studio adds team features, white-label options, and dedicated support. See Pricing for a full comparison.
